Creating the Student Council and holding an investiture Ceremony to celebrate the newly elected prefect body of the school is the first step to instill a sense of discipline, leadership, responsibility, accountability, and confidence to take independent decisions in a child.
It is the best way in which a school can demonstrate to its students what practically a democratic system looks like.
We had our big day today where we consigned our reliance on the newly installed office bearers and conferred various positions to the students as the recognised members of the School Student Council.
