Prabhat Feri

At the dawn of 77th Independence Day, Students of DPS Kota participated in traditional March past, the “Prabhat- Pheri” which resembled the “Early morning movement” of the Indian Nationalists during the times of struggle for independence.
The procession started from Chambal Garden, Kota at 7.00 am and moved to Delhi Public School, Sydney Street amidst enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The 2 Km walk with pertinent placards sensitized the neighbourhood and reminded the citizens of the of great sacrifices of our national leaders.
The streets reverberated with passionate“ Vande Mataram” slogan and patriotic musical compositions.
Prabhat Pheri was a commendable initiative taken by DPS team to foster cultural values and ethics in the children and spread the partriotic fervour and awareness in the entire neighbourhood.
Flag hoisting followed by Cultural programme in the Sydney school branch was also remarkable. Students displayed all the activities with zeal and enthusiasm.
