National Sports Day

Delhi Public School believes that sports are an integral part of education. On the occasion of National Sports Day, DPS Kota conducted various sports activities to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand. With the aim of raising awareness about the values of sports, teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship, students at DPS Kota understood the importance of team sports in life. It is a great time for students to practice supporting each other through both successes and failures. To make the day special, DPS Kota invited Shri Rajesh Mehra, who was selected for the Indian Hockey Federation Team Blues and played in a tournament in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) as a centre forward player for the team. He was quoted as Electric Footed Mehra by the Indian Express during 1967–68.
