Educational Trip to Saras Dairy

As a part Friday activity Delhi Public School Kota organised a pleasure excursion for the students of Grade III and IV.

The students were taken on a small educational day trip to Saras Dairy Plant Rawatbhatta Road Kota.

During their visit the students learned about the processing of milk and various milk products like butter, ghee, curd, lassi etc. The students saw the huge containers with capacity of 20,000litres and cold storage rooms where 0-5 degree Celsius temperature was maintained.

The fascinating part was the packaging of these products in cans, plastic cups and packets. The whole process was carried out with minimum human contamination.

The trip ended with a chilled lassi given by the authorities of Saras plant to all students.
Our students were curious and excited all through the visit and had a great time. We look forward to organise more such learning trips.
